TRADITION
While sound cattle production is our fundamental priority, showing cattle has been a longstanding tradition. Within our breeding program, we strive to produce show worthy heifers and exceptionally stout show steers. We take pride in personally showcasing our livestock and observing their success under the ownership of our valued customers.
BORDER CLASSIC
Each April we exhibit a market steer and heifer in the Border Classic Beef Show at the Maritime Beef Test Station in Nappan, Nova Scotia.
Sale Day follows with a catered banquet, auction and dance. We are appreciative of our buyers - Longtime supporters of local agriculture, community, and our farm.
THIRTY-SEVENTH ANNUAL
Thunderbrook's entry was recognized as the 2025 Reserve Champion Steer, along with winning the Bred & Owned Champion and the Tex's Pick Award. The Grand Champion Steer, owned and exhibited by Natalie, Layton, and Crossley Dixon, was born and raised on Thunderbrook Farms.
EASTGEN SHOWCASE
Overall Grand Champion Beef Competitor, Madiya Partiquin, with TBF 155B Lites Out 4L as well as Overall Reserve Champion Beef Competitor Leah Brunt, with TBF 8421F Lollipop 7L at the 2024 EastGen Showcase.
TBF 155B Lites Out 4L highlighted the event as Grand Champion Beef Heifer.
These heifers were purchased as our entries in the 2023 Atlantic Alliance Production Sale.
SUPREME CHAMPION
Milner Hill Farm & Fox Ranch Cattle Co. with Supreme Champion Thunderbrook Jolene 22L and calf at the 2025 CCEx.
Thunderbrook Jolene 22L was Supreme Champion in 2024 as a yearling and was purchase as the Border Classic Beef Show's Champion Heifer in 2023.
EASTGEN SHOWCASE
Overall Reserve Champion Beef Competitor, Walker Brake, with Thunderbrook 76M 'Queenie' at the 2025 EastGen Showcase.
Thunderbrook 76M highlighted the event as Reserve Champion Beef Conformation.
Bred and raised at Thunderbrook Farms, Thunderbrook 76M was privately purchased the summer before.
ANNUAL PROVINCIAL SHOW
Thunderbrook 76M was Champion Commercial and Reserve Champion Overall at the 2025 New Brunswick 4-H Annual Provincial Show.
With this, Walker Brake is Royal Bound November 2025 with Thunderbrook 76M 'Queenie' as a member of the the 2025 NB 4-H Royal Beef Team.
NEW BRUNSWICKEX
Milner Hill Farm & Fox Ranch Cattle Co. with TBF Black Widow 87M as Champion Overall Female in the 2025 NBEx Junior Show, as well as Reserve Champion Commercial to TBF Jolene 22L and calf as Champion Commercial Female in the NBEx Beef Show.
TBF Black Widow 87M was purchased privately the previous fall.
THE ROYAL AGRICULTURAL WINTER FAIR
TBF 8421F Kill the Lites 5K exhibited at the 2023 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair by Bottwood Acres of Bellwood, Ontario. TBF 8421F Kill the Lites 5K was the highest selling calf as our entry in the 2022 Atlantic Alliance Production Sale.
